Foundation Objective

The Lyone Foundation was established as a vehicle to give back to the Australian communities who so generously supported Dominique Lyone and his family when they first arrived in Australia in 1967, when he was just 13 years old.

The goal of the foundation is to work with deserving Australian charities who are committed to investing the money donated into their community as quickly as possible. That is why we choose to support the community projects of small to medium sized charities that are focused on human welfare, and that have minimal Government funding, supporting disadvantaged, vulnerable, and marginalised Australians, for a more prosperous future for all.

Our founder, Dominique Lyone has always been a goal-oriented man. When he started the foundation, he was committed to giving away 1% of total revenue. He remains committed to this goal today and to date the foundation has given away $20M.
