Edmund Rice Foundation

Edmund Rice Child and Youth Development programs foster growth through the Positive Youth Development framework. Through REACH, GROW, and LEAD camps, young people build self-esteem, social skills, and leadership while forming positive relationships with young-adult mentors.
The donation of $10,500 from the Lyone Foundation will support the Fund a Day Camp for Kids initiative, which will benefit approximately 30–50 socially and financially disadvantaged children. These age-specific camps provide a structured journey of self-development and connection, led by trained volunteers who offer mentorship, friendship, and support.
These single- and multi-day experiences typically run during school holidays and are complemented by monthly Eddie Explorer activities that offer fun, local engagement. The Head to Heart program further supports leadership development for both children and mentors, empowering young people to thrive and become agents of positive change. Â
