KIDS Foundation

KIDS Foundation was established in 1993 to care for and support traumatised and injured children and adults left with disabilities. They empower safety and promote wellbeing through education by engaging children, families and Early Childhood Education Centres.
The pledge of $11,000 from the Lyone Foundation will support the Recovery Day Camp. This camp will cater approximately 30-120 people. These camps will support children and adults recovering from horrific injuries and trauma caused by burns, accidents, violent crimes, abuse, and disease. Recovery is supported through these specialised camps, leadership workshops, and the national burn survivor network. The powerful role of peer support is central to these programs. KIDS Foundation has a mission to provide opportunities that build bright prospects, resilience, and optimism through education, empowerment, socialisation, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
