Backpack Beds for Homeless is a national non-profit charity that aims to provide rough sleepers with comfort and safety.

Backpack beds are lightweight, compact, and provide full-body protection in all seasons. The charity has so far distributed over 36,000 of these items to homeless people in need, at an average rate of one every two hours.

A $5,000 donation from the Lyone Foundation assists with the distribution of an additional 50 backpack beds, which include mosquito nets, a built-in pouch, and an emergency blanket for cold weather.
