The Lyone Foundation is proud to support Cos We Care with a $10,000 donation, an incredible foundation making a difference in the lives of the homeless in Adelaide. This not-for-profit organisation tirelessly serves over 200 people every weekend, providing essential items and support without judgment or prejudice. By donating to Cos We Care, we aim to make a lasting impact on the community.
The donation will be allocated to two vital projects. Firstly, it will aid the establishment of a new program in Salisbury, where Cos We Care plans to extend its services to an additional 100 families in need. This will involve the purchase of 10 trestle tables, four weather protection marquees, and cover the petrol costs for pickups.
Secondly, the funds will contribute to repairing one of Cos We Care's refrigerated vehicles, crucial for safely transporting food. These repairs, totalling $4,000, will ensure uninterrupted support for the existing 200 families and 300 students who rely on the organisation.
Through this donation, Cos We Care will be able to expand its reach, serving a total of 300 families and 400 students every week for the next 12 months.
