Eat Up’s mission is to provide lunch to disadvantaged children, enabling them to make the most out of their school day and to take advantage of their learning opportunities. With the generous help and lunch-making skills of a dedicated army of volunteers, Eat Up makes and deliver thousands of lunches a month to schools around Australia. In fact, since 2013, they have delivered over 250,000 lunches. Which is over 250,000 afternoons of learning salvaged from the grips of hunger.
The Lyone foundation has assisted in providing an additional refrigerated van on the road which allowed Eat Up to support 120 schools, supplying over 115,000 lunches each year. Funds raised will directly support the Eat Up program feeding disadvantaged school children so they can learn, grow and succeed. Our $11,055 funding from The Lyone Foundation will cover the basic yearly costs for Eat Up to continue providing sandwiches to disadvantaged children.
