Edmund Rice Camp
Date: April 6, 2021
The NSW chapter of the not-for-profit organisation Edmund Rice Camps focuses on responding to the human welfare needs of children and young people aged 5-15 yrs old, as well as families experiencing disadvantage and marginalisation. The charity provides a variety of group-based, recreational activities, including week-long and weekend camps, with a focus on providing skills and opportunities for kids to be kids!
The $16,250 funding provided by The Lyone Foundation allows Edmund Rice Camps to enhance their basic care package for disadvantaged children and teenagers. This includes items tailored to each child’s primary needs, including bicycles, scooters, and sports shoes to help children stay active and healthy, or prepaid wireless modems and tech devices to allow them to stay connected and complete their education.
