Edmund Rice Camps
NSW is a not-for-profit organisation focused on responding to the human welfare needs of children and young people (aged 5-15 yrs old) and families experiencing significant and complex disadvantage and marginalisation. These provide a variety of group-based, recreational activities, including week-long and weekend camps. Aimed at providing opportunities for kids to be kids! The $16,250 funding from The Lyone Foundation allows Edmund Rice Camps to enhance their basic care package for children and young people experiencing significant and complex disadvantage with a ‘big ticket item’ tailored to each child’s and their primary needs. These items include, bicycles, scooters, and sport shoes to help kids stay active and healthy or as a prepaid wireless modem to help kids stay connected.
