Hope in a Suitcase is a not-for-profit organisation, run by volunteers who are passionate about showing every child in the foster care system that they are loved and valued by their community. They aim to do this by providing a suitcase of their very own to ensure they have a safe and secure place in which to pack their belongings and take with them wherever their journey may lead.

All suitcases provided are filled with essential items such as toiletries, sanitary items, a set of pyjamas, and a change of clothing. For younger children, they also include something to cuddle, a book to read, a journal, and colouring-in books and pencils to encourage creativity and provide a needed distraction when life gets tough. Our $10,000 donation will assist Hope in a Suitcase in providing more children with suitcases full of useful items.
