Sleapy’s Foundation provides critical assistance to families across regional New South Wales who are facing adversity. Their support spans a wide range of needs, from funding essential medical equipment and providing technology to help children continue their education during treatment, to covering the cost of travel and accommodation for families needing to access specialist care far from home. At its core, Sleapy’s Foundation is about easing the burden on families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

The $10,000 donation from the Lyone Foundation will directly support approximately 100 Head and Neck Cancer patients through the delivery of personalised care packages tailored to their specific and often overlooked needs. These patients commonly endure side effects such as sore mouths and swallowing difficulties, dry mouth, hoarse voice, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, and painful skin reactions caused by intense treatments like radiation and chemotherapy. The care packs will include items that provide both comfort and practical relief such as cooling towels to soothe radiation burns, MooGoo skin care products to alleviate skin irritation, and oral care essentials to manage pain and maintain hygiene.

By providing these thoughtfully designed care packs, Sleapy’s Foundation addresses the isolation, physical and emotional impact these patients face. This support not only helps ease their symptoms but also restores a sense of compassion and hope during this difficult time.
