The Bestest Foundation

The Bestest Foundation is focused on advancing the social welfare of disadvantaged kids who are facing serious challenges. This could include medical illnesses; educational disadvantage; physical disabilities; or situations where they are considered at major risk. Since 2008, the Bestest Foundation have been supporting children in need who might otherwise be overlooked by larger charities. Bestest offers a personalised approach, tailoring support to the unique needs of each child and their family.

The funds of $9,500 from the Lyone Foundation will assist in running the Child Protection Program which is based in Redfern and deals with difficult issues of abuse, neglect, drug addiction, alcoholism, and social isolation. Children born into these environments face immense struggles from the start. Bestest believes that “No child should be falling through the cracks and that every child deserves a chance to thrive, free from disadvantage.” This program works to ease the burden on vulnerable children, helping them feel supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
