The White Shadow

White Shadow is a foundation that believes in a more equitable Australia, where every man, woman and child can live in safety with access to shelter, nutritious food, security and medical care. The organisation supports people who are at risk, disadvantaged or marginalised, with a strong focus on child protection and domestic and family violence. They regularly receive calls and emails from single mothers in the local community seeking assistance to secure safe accommodation and rebuild their lives.

The $8,500 donation from the Lyone Foundation will help fund the purchase of a community van. The van will enable White Shadow to safely transport people in need, as well as deliver essential furniture, appliances and other household items, making it easier to provide timely and practical support to vulnerable members of the community.
