With the help of the Lyone Foundation and its funding of $5,000, Orange Sky's Darwin service can continue to operate its van seven days a week, ensuring Orange Sky Darwin can support 1,367 people experiencing homelessness and tough times in the region. Orange Sky provides access to free laundry services, warm showers, and positive connections within the community.
A new service at Casuarina Square has been established in partnership with Orange Sky's service provider, the Salvation Army, and is currently operating every Thursday with the help of dedicated volunteers to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for the people who feel disconnected from the community.
