Hero Hunter
Perth Branch
The Hero Hunter Foundation supports families of children with cancer and blood disorders through practical, family-focused programs. With a strong emphasis on carer wellbeing and household support during hospital stays, the Foundation helps ease the emotional and financial pressures families face during incredibly tough times.
In 2025, Hero Hunter is expanding its impact with a series of new initiatives designed to provide direct relief to families when they need it most. The $15,000 donation from the Lyone Foundation assists around 10 families through hospital parking reimbursements and fuel vouchers, around 6 families with professional cleaning services and 5 with deep cleans of transplant homes. It will also allow 5 families to join the Corporate Busy Bees program, which assists with garden and home maintenance. These services give families one less thing to worry about, so they can focus on what matters most: caring for their child.
The Impact
Following the Lyone Foundation’s $15,000 donation in the last financial year, Hero Hunter Foundation has expanded its reach to support more than 100 additional families with practical, compassionate assistance, helping to ease the pressure during some of life’s most challenging moments. - Over 100 regular professional house cleans for families in active treatment
- 11 corporate volunteering garden makeovers, creating safe and calming outdoor spaces
- More than $6,000 in home maintenance support, ensuring children can recover in a safe space

Every service Hero Hunter provides gives families something truly valuable during treatment: breathing space. With the support of the Lyone Foundation, Hero Hunter is continuing to make a meaningful and lasting difference for families across Western Australia navigating the unimaginable challenges of childhood cancer and severe blood disorders.
