United Way is a charity that works in part to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Australian children, fostering a lifelong love of reading and discovery within children who might not otherwise get this encouragement.
During the year 2020-2021, Lyone Foundation donations of $48,000 have assisted 112 children in Greater Western Sydney and provided capacity for a further 100 children to be supported in Acacia Ridge, near COS's Queensland depot. United Way have engaged a statistician to help with the analysis of data, guiding the measurement and evaluation process that ensures the effectivity of the Imagination Library program in Australia. Our funding also added employment hours to boost national operational support.
Greater Western Sydney
During 2020, United Way distributed over 81,000 books to families across Australia in support of over 7,500 children. They have seen 645 children enrolled in the program with the Lyone Foundation contributing to a significant part of this growth.
Acacia Ridge

Victoria
In 2021, funding went towards assisting children's registration and engagement with Victorian Kindergartens under the Department of Education School Readiness Program.
