Pillars of Strength (POS) operates across the east coast of Australia, offering peer support, respite, and other assistance to grieving fathers.

Since its inception in 2011 POS has assisted over 3,500 fathers who have either lost or have a sick child. Often the well-being of the father is overlooked when a child is ill, or tragically passes away. In these times of crisis, even the strongest dads need support.

The Lyone Foundation was very happy to donate $10,000, with these funds directed towards covering the cost of accommodation for families with a child in neonatal intensive care, and “timeout” support network events for fathers across the East Coast.
