Sirens of Silence supports the mental health and wellbeing of Australia’s frontline first responders: Police, Fire, and Ambulance through early-intervention programs, counselling, legal aid, and education. Founded in 2015 by WA paramedics Lyn and Ian Sinclair, the charity offers tailored group sessions following service suicides and helps responders return to healthy family and community roles.

The $5,500 donation from the Lyone Foundation will assist in supporting in the workplace retraining program for those affected by PTSD, helping them re-enter the workforce in meaningful roles. The funds will also support the rehabilitation of a serving police officer undergoing leg amputation, funding his mental health recovery, home modifications for safety, and retraining for a new career. Sirens of Silence is committed to building resilience, restoring dignity, and ensuring no first responder faces recovery alone.
