The Lyone Foundation's longstanding partnership with United Way Australia assists the charity in facilitating the Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) program, fostering a lifelong love of reading and discovery within children who might not otherwise get this encouragement.

The Lyone Foundation's funding of $21,000 contributed to the work done with 200 children in Greater Western Sydney through the purchase of books that are gifted to children once a month.

The aim of the project is to help all young children to become ready for school and families to create home libraries regardless of socio-economic status.
